Eligibility

Applicants will be required to register as postgraduate research students in the University of London.

The studentship is intended primarily for research leading to the PhD degree of the University of London, and not for following taught courses such as those leading to a Master's degree.

In addition to an outstanding academic record, applicants should normally have gained, or be about to gain, a Master's degree. Candidates without a Master's qualification may apply only if they can demonstrate that they have gained equivalent experience through another route (for example, relevant professional practice) that has exceptionally prepared them to undertake doctoral study.
