Location
ULIP is co-located with the British Council in premises overlooking the Esplanade des Invalides in the 7th arrondissement, a five minute walk from the Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysées.
Access by metro or express suburban train
The Institute is 100 yards from the Invalides metro station (line 8, Balard - Créteil, and line 13, Châtillon - Saint-Denis) which interchanges with the Invalides railway station on the RER (réseau express régional) 'C' lines (Versailles - Etampes - Argenteuil). The Eurostar takes just over 2 hours from St Pancras, London to the Gare du Nord, Paris.
There is a taxi stance to the right as you leave the platform on arrival at the Gare du Nord. Journey time to the rue de Constantine is 20 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Cost around 12 to 18€.
